  I had an excellent experience with orthodontia with Dr. Carr. As an adult, I came to Dr. Carr with a jaw popping/cracking issue that I’d had for well over 10 years, that was beginning to result in my jaw seizing up and causing me pain. During my initial checkup with Dr. Carr, I was informed that I was going to need jaw surgery to correct some of the key issues that would allow my jaw to heal and no longer pop (which I verified through another independent orthodontist). I had a very limited amount of time between when I was able to start treatment and when I was moving (unexpectedly) out of West Lafayette, and through Dr. Carr’s experience, expertise, and technological prowess, he was able to prepare me for ortho surgery and then finalize my ‘new smile’. He worked hand-in-hand with the orthosurgeon to make sure that I was ready for the surgery, and that he could begin the final corrections to my bite post-surgery as quickly and efficiently as he could. I now have a fantastic simile – my cross bite is gone, my teeth align side-by-side (rather than running in a zig-zag pattern) and, most importantly, my jaw problems are now completely gone. The fact that we got all of this packed into 10 months is a testament to not only his skill, but his ability to use the latest in orthodontic technology (include the sure-smile wires, which greatly sped up the pre-surgical preparations and left relatively little teeth-movement to be done post-surgery). Dr. Carr himself is very genial and friendly. He has an excellent bedside manner, and employs a staff who are also equally kind, friendly, and always happy to see you. It make getting my wires changed out a very pleasant experience.

  Dr. Carr and his staff are AMAZING!!!! They are amazing and wonderful with kids of ALL ages!!! A very friendly, happy and welcoming atmosphere. We will be taking all of our kids to Dr. Carr as they need braces as we are very very pleased with my oldest daughters results!! Love that one of their offices has a play room for siblings. During the school year we go to the West Lafayette office because it is closer to home and except for my toddler, the rest of my kids are in school but during the summer and school breaks we go to the south side office so my other 5 kids can play while their sister is getting her braces taken care of.
